At Dwelling Point Church, we don’t believe in accidents—we believe in assignment. This church didn’t begin as a plan or a strategy. It began as a burden from the Lord, a deep conviction that God was calling something to be planted in the soil of Central Texas that would awaken purpose, revive families, and host His presence in power.

A Burden Before a Building

Before Dwelling Point had a name, a team, or a location, it had a word: “Dwell.”

The Lord began to stir in our hearts a vision of a people—not just attending church, but becoming a dwelling place for God. A church that wasn’t built on programs but on presence. A community where people would come alive in their purpose, encounter the power of God, and carry revival into their homes, campuses, and cities.

This burden didn’t start in Central Texas—but it led us here.

Why Central Texas?

Central Texas is one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation. Families are relocating, universities are expanding, and cities are developing—but beneath the surface, there’s a hunger for something eternal.

The Lord began to show us that Austin and San Marcos are not just cities to reach—they are wells to dig. Places where the Kingdom of God could break through if the people of God would obey His call to plant, build, and believe again.

We felt called to be a part of that. Not to compete—but to contribute. Not to add noise—but to establish a dwelling.

The Vision: Purpose, Presence, Power

Dwelling Point Church exists to help people:

  • Discover purpose through Christ-centered teaching and identity-based discipleship

  • Encounter God’s presence through passionate worship and a culture of prayer

  • Walk in power by equipping believers to live Spirit-led lives and make a real impact in their world

We are not just planting services. We are planting people, planting culture, and planting roots in the communities of San Marcos and Austin for the long haul.

From One Step of Obedience to a Movement

What started with prayer meetings and team gatherings has grown into two launch teams, monthly worship nights, and weekly Team Sunday services. We haven’t even launched to the public yet—and already, we’ve seen:

  • People give their lives to Jesus

  • Families restored

  • Young adults step into leadership

  • A deep hunger for the presence of God begin to stir

But this is only the beginning. The vision is big, but so is the God who gave it to us.
